- Start by booting from a Windows XP CD.
- When you see the message, "Press any key to boot from CD..." DO IT. If you miss it boot to the Windows XP CD and try again.
- Allow Windows XP to Begin the Setup Process - No user intervention is required in this step.
- When the Windows XP Professional/Home Setup screen appears, press R to enter Recovery Console.
